About Mahony Fittings

Incorporated in October of 1981, Mahony Fittings, Inc. is a wholesale stocking distributor of industrial products with its offices and warehouses located in the East Windsor Industrial Park, East Windsor, Connecticut. Our customer base is all of New England in addition to an increasingly growing international export business. We service a wide range of customer accounts, including manufacturing, industrial maintenance, aerospace, power generation, building and agricultural trades. Originally founded by Gerald F. Mahony, the business is now owned and run by his daughter, Sheila C. Mahony, who succeeded her father upon his retirement in 2001.

Sheila Mahony Smith, President

Active here since 1985, Ms. Mahony rose through the ranks from office to inside and outside sales before her appointment as Vice President in 1990. Ms. Mahony graduated from Boston College with a BA in Sociology in 1976 and was employed as an administrator with the Massachusetts Department of Correction from 1976-1985. Ms Mahony became president of Mahony Fittings, Inc. upon her father's retirement in 2001 and purchased the existing corporation in July of 2002. Ms. Mahony, who uses her maiden name professionaly, owns 100% of the corporation's stock.

Timothy G. Mips, Vice President

Mr. Mips has been employed with Mahony Fittings on either a part or full time basis since 1992, rising through the ranks from warehouse worker his current position of Vice President. Mr. Mips graduated in 1997 from Vermont Technical College with an associate's degree in architecture.

Matthew D. Carey, Sales and Operations Manager

Mr. Carey joined Mahony Fittings, Inc. in 1996 as a warehouse driver. He was promoted to warehouse manager in 1997 and entered full time sales in 2002. Aside from sales, Mr. Carey also has prime responsibility for the physical plant and vehicle and equipment maintenance.
